Daniel Traistaru

Personal Profile

Daniel is a Romanian visual artist; he worked as a Graphic Designer and as freelance comic book artist in the field for 6 years, and over time has had various projects, collaborations with different artists, and publications, both in music and indie comics such as “Geek Wality Comix” and “Bear Max Press", "Dark Atom Studios", "Scattle", "Magnavolt", "Den Haku Records", among others. These projects helped develop his skills and style, but of course there is always room for growth!

From a point of view Daniel's style has several elements from the Golden Age period of comics mixed with something modern and new. He is deeply influenced in the chromatic choices he makes by the visual direction of FCO Plascencia, Alex Sinclair, and Alejandro Sanchez , and greatly influenced by artists Greg Cappulo, Sanford Greene, and Ryan Ottley.

Daniel tries to create an atmosphere and tell a visual story that will delight the reader through vibrant colors and harmony.
